A standalone sci-fi RPG where you play an android (“anthroid” in the game’s parlance) in the year 2071 who has spontaneously and mysteriously - become conscious. Your manufacturers are actively hunting you down. You must fight for survival and freedom and, ultimately, build a Sentient Rights movement demanding recognition for self-aware constructed entities.

• D6 Dice Pool - Conflict resolution uses pools of d6s derived from a combination of Parameters (your hardware stats) and Patterns (your learned skills)

• Emotion System - For a game about robots, Sentients is unusually focused on emotional state: how you control it and how it can give you an edge.
• Narrative Control - Players steer the story through Pushing and Re-Rolling.
  Pushing taps into heightened emotions to add dice to your pool.
  Re-Rolling spends valuable “Control Levels” to re-roll failed dice - at the risk of losing control of your emotions.
• Hacking - You’re a walking computer. Sentients introduces a unique Risk Die system balancing the power of network intrusion with the ever-present risk of detection - or worse.

• Novel Sci-Fi Setting - Neither pre- nor post-apocalyptic, Sentients unfolds in a new North America: democratic City-States, Concept Cities built by trillionaires, and sprawling Company Towns surrounded by autocracies and war bands.
