A wide-eyed stableboy outside the Green Griffin tells travelers...Adventurers returning from the Caverns of Doom report stumbling upon a muddy, uninviting sublevel of the famed dungeon. They speak of bubbling pools and mud geysers that threatened to drown them at every turn. They quickly found themselves caught in the middle of a war between invading firenewts and the mudmen lurking in the pools.
