In CHAINsomnia, sleeping children become trapped in the castle of the demon Akuma and must work with others to escape. Players explore the castle in hopes of escaping while finding useful items, encountering various events, and challenging bad dreams to break free!
Each player will select one of 6 unique characters, each with their own special powers, to navigate the castle. All characters start on the central tile, with the "wake up" tile placed at the bottom of the room tile deck. As a fully cooperative game, all players work together against the game, meaning all players either win or lose together!
As players explore the castle, they flip over tiles to create rooms and populate them with items and events. If one player reaches the "wake up" tile with all bad dreams vanquished, the players win!
